CEDAR HILL ENGAGES ANTHEM, LLC TO CREATE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIC PLAN

The City of Cedar Hill Economic Development Corporation (Cedar Hill EDC) recently executed a contract with Houston-based management consulting firm Anthem, LLC to collaborate on the creation of a new economic development strategic plan for the City. This collaboration is the next step in creating a regional and national reputation for Cedar Hill as a destination for investment and builds upon the recently completed marketing study. The firm touts a progressive approach to economic development with a focus on values-based strategic planning and empowerment of the existing business community to create a compelling sense of place for business attraction.

Cedar Hill EDC Economic Development Director Kim Buttram, CEcD says of the decision, “We are thrilled to be working with Anthem, LLC. The plan will be conducted over a six-month period beginning in January 2021 and will include opportunities for stakeholder engagement, discussions with local business owners, and a comprehensive evaluation of the opportunities for growth while maintaining the values and character of Cedar Hill.
