Texas has the best business climate in the country, according to a new survey of U.S. corporate executives from Development Counsellors International (DCI). Florida is the runner up, followed by Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
Texas, which has consistently held the #1 ranking since 1999, was again a favorite among survey respondents, with 42 percent naming the state as having one of the most favorable business climates. Texas Economic Development Corporation was also ranked as one of the top five state economic development organizations in the U.S.
Conducted by DCI every three years, “Winning Strategies in Economic Development Marketing” was released today at the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Annual Conference in Toronto.
