When PepWear moved to Cedar Hill at the end of 2010 they were, according to President Craig Johnson, looking for an opportunity to grow.
That growth resulted in major milestone as they celebrate 1 million impressions over the past year. That kind of volume puts them in the top echelon of screen printing and embroidery companies.
[The Cedar Hill] community celebrates with their 72 employees as they plan for even more growth.
“We chose to build in Cedar Hill for many reasons: the large pool of talent for staffing, its excellent proximity to major highways, the attractive commercial development and a progressive City management. When we saw the Cedar Hill Business Park, owned by the Cedar Hill EDC, we were very impressed. Then when the CHEDC offered us an attractive package of incentives to locate there, the decision was easy,” said Mr. Johnson.
The City of Cedar Hill is also delighted about the addition of PepWear to the Cedar Hill Business Park. “PepWear is a natural fit for Cedar Hill. Our business park has the city services the growing company needs and the company’s culture is a great match with our community. We are excited that PepWear chose Cedar Hill as its new home,” said Allison J.H. Thompson, Economic Development Director for the City of Cedar Hill.
Expanding their building is the next project according to Mr. Johnson. “We need more space to accommodate the growth of our business and to make us more efficient.”
PepWear is a supplier of premium custom imprinted and embroidered wearables for schools and organizations. They also produce custom plaques and awards.
[The Cedar Hill] community is proud of PepWear’s success, another business who found that in Cedar Hill “opportunities grow naturally.”
